Enjoyed doing a little genealogical exploration via microfilm rolls of Census data with my mom and dad in the 1980's. We found the elusive missing great great grandfather (Zadok York)after many rolls of searching. I picked up the torch after my folks' passing, and have thoroughly enjoyed the access to documents that Ancestry provides.
Have a particular interest in Yorks, Van Everys, Randalls, and Browns, and especially in the many families (both directly and distantly related) in Preble County, OH, where my mother grew up, and whose Historical Society has done a magnificent job of scanning and indexing genealogical records online.
