Always curious about who and where my family came from I started to research my family tree. (Johnson side from Vessige and Sundsval are of Sweden and the Schaller side from Prussia and the Alsace Lorraine area of Germany.)Because of this "need to know" and digging, I inadvertently stumbled across my Swedish grandfathers ashes,sitting on a back shelf of a cemetery, unclaimed for over 68 years...5 years before my own birth. Some how I believe I was driven by a greater power to find them...
